The Bodleian Library is the main research library of the University of Oxford, and is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. It is one of six legal deposit libraries for works published in the United Kingdom, and is entitled to request a copy of each book published in the Republic of Ireland. It operates principally as a reference library and documents may not be removed from the reading rooms.
Harold Postmartin maintains the archive of Newton's papers at this location and has his office here.[1] The library also seems to contain other books on magic such as the copy of Wegen der Industriellen Nutzung von Magié (Towards the Industrial Use of Magic) Peter has delivered in Broken Homes.[2]
