Henry Speltz was a Canadian stage performer, using the stage persona Manchu the Magnificent (a Chinese magician). After one performance he found Molly in his disapearing cabinet. He took her home to his family.[1]
In 1911 there was a rumour about white slave trade, and Inspector Murville initiated a raid in the Limehouse district of London. He found Molly in Speltz’s home and rescued her.[2]
