The Queen of the Fae was a fae connected with the disappearance of Nicole Lacey and Hannah Marstowe. She is described by Peter Grant as being very tall and pale with a armor made from polished overlapping slate and wearing a circlet decorated with a single sapphire.[1] Princess Luna is one of two unicorns which belong to her.[1]

Peter hypothesizes that at some point in the late 1990s Derek Lacey and the Queen had a sexual liason which resulted in Nicole Lacey. This Nicole was later switched with Not-Nicole (the fully human child of Derek Lacey and Victoria Lacey) when Zoe Thomas ran away from home.[1] Their shared parentage may be why Nicole and Not-Nicole resemble each other, and why DNA results from the girls were initially difficult to distinguish from each other.
